Bagdogra PS, case no 445/2021 Dtd, 05.09.2021 u/s 25(i)(a) of Arms Act was started over the written complaint of ASI Dhirendra Nath Mandal of Bagdogra PS, Siliguri Police Commissionerate to the effect that on 05.09.2021 around night 22.25 pm acting a tip of secret source information the complainant along with force had interception two persons namely i) Sunny Thakur 21 yrs s/o Late Mokeswar Thakur of Panitanki, Goursing jote PS, Kharibari Dist, Darjeeling ii) Tapan Singha 24yrs s/o Krishna Singha of Dulaljote PS, Kharibari Dist, Darjeeling both are standing with a red color two wheeler Motor Cycle styled as Dominor 250 bearing RC No WB74BD/7471 and on search in presence of independent witnesses and as per their leading statement one 9MM pistol has been recovered which was kept concealed on the down side of seat of said two wheeler motor cycle. On measuring its length 16.5 inch width 13 inch with one empty magazine length 12 inch and width 3 inch loaded with two rounds live cartage. On interrogation they both confessed that they purchased the said 9MM pistol from Naxalbari and sale the same their designated customers.
