BHAKTINAGAR PS CASE NO. 1312/21, Dated: 07.10.2021, U/S 188/353/341/332/ 506 /34 IPC r/w sec 10 WBG & PC Act. On 07.10.21 SI Srimanta Chatterjee of Bhaktinagar PS under Siliguri Police Commissionerate lodged a written complaint that on 06.10.2021 at 22.40 hrs while he along with force were performing special raid against Gambling at Pareshnagar near Saw Mill. Pareshnagar under Bhaktinagar PS and the raid team found that 10/11 persons who were engaged in Gambling at the road side of Paresh Nagar with playing cards in exchange of money for their wrongful gain and wrongful loss, in the street light. He arrested 1) Jayprakash Yadav-32 yrs s/o Parshuram Yadav of Upper Bhanunagar near Green valley, ward no-43, PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (2) Sonu Mahato s/o Shadya of Upper Bhanunagar near Green vally, ward no- 43 PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (3) Raj Mahato-28 yrs s/o Sakaldev Mahato Upper Bhanunagar, Naya busty, near Green valley, ward no-43 PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (4) Abhijit Barua s/o Lt Debu Barua of Pareshnagar ward no-44, Near PHE PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (5) Pappu Yadav-25yrs s/o Kamaldev Yadav of Upper Bhanunagar, PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (6) Samser Rai-42yrs s/o Lt Ganesh Rai of Pareshnagar ward no-44, Near PHE PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri along with following seized articles (i) 95 Pcs of playing cards.(ii) One old and used Plastic used as mat. (iii) One used Match Box with some match sticks. (iv)Three half burnt candle, (which were in lit up condition during raid.(v) Rs. 1200/ (Twelve hundred only) as Board Money from their possession.
