BHAKTINAGAR PS (ASG OP) CASE NO. 711/21, Dated: 21.06.2021, U/S 3/4/21/28 WBG & PC Act (OTHERS): Started over the written complaint of SI Partha Sarath Das, O.C. Ashighar OP, under Bhaktinagar PS lodged a written complaint against the above noted accused persons to the effect that on 21.06.2020 at 14.25 hrs he received information that a Online betting was going on inside the house of Nagen Sarkar at of Madhya Shantinagar PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri. Accordingly he along with for had been to Madhya Shantinagar and held raid in the house of Nagen Sarkar and found 3 (Three) accused persons namely (1) Nagen Sarkar (40) S/O – Jagonnath Sarkar of – Krantihat Paulpara PO Krantihat PS Malbazar Dist Jalpaiguri, C/O Chinmoy Some,Madhya Shantinagar PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri (2) Shankar Mahanta(45) S/O Late Madhusudhan Mahanta of Karunamayee Kalibari Road Shantinagar PS Bhaktinagar Dist Jalpaiguri and (3) Ganesh Choudhury (25) S/O Mahendra Choudhry of Madhya Shantinagar ,Pipeline Kuti Mill PS Bhaktinagar who were engaged in online gambling with the help of Mobile phone to each other by cash & online transaction to wrongful gain and wrongful loss to each other and further searched the police party recovered (1)Cash Rs. 410,200/-(Four Lakh ten thousands two hundred only in the following denomination:- i) 500x800= 400000/-, ii) 200 x 9=1800, iii) 100 x 83=8300/-, iv) 50 x 02=100/-.(2) (a) One blue colour MI mobile phone having IMEI no. 866750033846323 and 866750033846331 including one SIM no. 6294104783 (b) Samsung Galaxy A50s mobile having IMEI no.351595117930861 and 351596117930869 and SIM no. 9732969470,(c) Samsang dues mobile with one SIM having no. 7319476221. 3) (a) One Samsung black coloured Galaxy J7 NKT dues having IMEI no. 354636099559197 and 354637099551195,SIM no. 8945866496.(b) One Samsung dues mobile with key pad having SIM no. 9832467487.(4) (a) One blue colour 1+ mobile phone having IMEI no. 99001326214235 and 865166044264714 and SIM no. 9800119833 from their possession on demand they could not produced any valid license/documents in respect of playing the gambling in their house.
