Pradhan Nagar PS case No. 332/21 dtd. 28.05.21 u/s 399/402 IPC, Started over the written Complaint of SI Binup Mahato of Pradhannagar PS,SPC that, on 28.05.2021 at 00.15 hrs incourse of PC night patrolling duty at that time received secret source information that 10-12 persons were assembled at Pokaijote play ground premises under Pradhan nagar P.S. area with deadly weapons with a view to commit some heinous crime. Accordingly as per telephonic instruction of I/C Pradhannagar P.S. he rushed to the spot to verify the veracity of the information and to work upon it. On reaching near the spot as confirmed by the source at about 00.25 hrs they found that some persons assembled and gossiping there. Seeing police team they started fleeing in multiple directions but Somehow, after a hot chase police team could able to apprehend the 05 (Five) persons namely 1) Buddha Tamang (38), S/ 0- Sonam Tamang of Netaji nagar, Sona Petrol Pump, P.S. Bhaktinagar, Dist- Jalpaiguri, 2) Bikram Rana (38), S/ 0- Lt Bhanu Rana of Babubhasa, Debidanga, P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist- Darjeeling, 3) Karan Subba (25), 5/0- Lt Ganga Subba of Gurung busty, Baghajatin Colony, P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist- Darjeeling, 4) Md Ali (19), S/0- Md Chandu of Gurung busty, South Baghajatin Colony, P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist- Darjeeling, 5) Md Mojammel (21), S/O- Lt Md Atabul of New Pokaijote, P.S. Pradhan nagar, Dist-Darjeeling. On interrogation they persons disclosed that they along with other 5/7 associates assembled there with a view to commit docoity after making full preparation in a house at adjacent area. Thereafter all the apprehended persons were searched and recovered the following articles from their possession viz. i) One iron made "Ram Dao" having length 32" (approx) including butt having length 5" (approx), from the possession of Md Ali. ii) One iron "Rod" having length 13" (Approx), from the possession of Karan Subba. iii) One Iron made "Slowed" having length 20" (approx) including butt having length 4.5" from the possession of Md Mojammel. iv) One iron made "Saba having length 21" (Approx) from the possession of Bikram Rana. v) One steel made "Knife" having length 12" (Approx) including butt, from the possession of Buddha Tamang. vi) One plastic made Black & red colour Torch light. from the possession of Buddha Tamang.
