Siliguri PS Case No. 234/21 Dated 22.03.2021 U/S- 25 (1A) Arms Act 1959P.O- Tikiapara, near Vegetable Market, Siliguri. Brief: Started instant case on the written complaint of SI Uday Chakraborty of Siliguri PS/SPC to the effect that on 22.03.21 at around 18.35 hrs received a secret source information that one person was moving suspiciously at Tikiapara, near Vegetable Market under Siliguri PS with an ulterior motive, and is in possession of fire arms. Accordingly he along with other officers and force rushed to the spot at Tikiapara, near Vegetable Market, Siliguri and as per identified by his source the complainant manage to apprehended one person who disclosed his name & identity as Pramit Mandal (22yrs) S/O- Lt Netai Mandal of South Colony, near Kali Mandir, 8, PS-NJP, Dist-Jalpaiguri. On being search recovered one improvised iron made Fire Arms in working condition measuring approx 10.08inches from his possession, which was kept concealed under his pant. On being asked he failed to produce any valid licence/document in support of possession the above noted fire arms. Further interrogation he stated that he procured the fire arms illegally with intended to sale under Siliguri area for his wrongful gain. Accordingly the complainant seized the articles under proper seizure list in presence of witnesses and arrested the above noted person after observing all rules and formalities. Arrest: 01. I.O.
