Bhaktinagar PS Case no. 754/2020, dated 29/08/2020 U/S 21(c)/22(c) of NDPS Act has been registered over the written complaint of SI Srimanta Chatterjee of Bhaktinagar PS, SPC that on 30.08.2020 at about 14.45 hrs he received an information that Sanjit Routh @ Balaji and Md Seraj Alam @ Guddu along with two others were coming with one motor cycle and one Scooty from Bhupendarnagar side towards Prakashnagar side with huge quantity of illegal drug without valid license or documents (.) After informing I/C Bhaktinagar, he along with raid team left for Prakashnagar, near IGP office under Bhaktinagar PS to work out the information (.) On reaching the spot they were ambushed nearby IGP office (.) During ambushed, found that one White colour YAMAHA motor cycle boarded with three persons came near IGP office and few minutes later one another person come with white colour scooty at same place (.) Thereafter Police team managed to apprehend total four persons noted above with their vehicles and found 260 grams of brown coloured contravene substances likely to be Brown Sugar in the motor cycle having Registration no- WB74V/9064 and on demand, they failed to produce any valid documents for the possession of the same (.) Accordingly in presence of Shri Sujoy Tunga, I/C Bhaktinagar P.S. as Gazetted Officer and two independent witnesses, he seized i.e. 1) 01 (one) transparent plastic packet (enfold in BARTAMAN newspaper dated 12.08.20) containing 260 grams of brown coloured contravene substances likely to be Brown Sugar 2) One white colour TVS Scooty having Registration no- WB74AR/7682 chassis no-MD626EG48H67741, 3) One white colour YAMAHA R 15 Motor cycle having Registration no- WB74V/9064, Engine no-3881035927, 4) One Samsung Black colour keypad mobile phone vide IMEI no-3571200171739580 of Sanjit Routh, 5) One MI mobile phone vide IMEI no-868645048500907 & 868645048500915 and arrested them (.)
