Cyber Crime PS, Siliguri PC case No. 87/20 dt 02/07/2020 U/S 419/420 IPC== The instant case has been registered over the written complaint of one Ramashish Mahato S/O Janak Mahato of Vivekananada Pally, Upper Bagdogra , Near Kali Mandir, Dist- Darjeeling to the effect that on 01/07/2020 at about 03:00 PM he received a phone call from 6289042467 who introduced himself as employee of Airtel company and offered him for special recharge of Rs. 249/- and asked him to download Quicker Support App. On good faith he downloaded the app and followed all the instruction. Few moments later he found that an amount of Rs. 83,015/- in total debited from his SBI bank account.
