information, arrested one  persons named Bijoy Das (28) S/O Sri Dipen Das
of Ambika Nagar, P.S-NJP, manager of Ganapati Food Product Fulbari Hat on the
allegation of  committing adulteration of
food by manufacturing and storing  for
illegal gain and seized i) Two cartoons containing 1872 pouch of “Green Chilly
Pickle, ii) Two cartoons containing 1872 pouchof “Sweet IMLI pickle, One
cartoons containing 960 pouch of “Mango” pickle, Two pieces of blue colour
small jars styled as “IDACOL”, One cartoon 4 sealed bottles of “ Mixed” pickle,
One bottle lamon flavour “ Peacock brand  “lemon oil. This refers to New
Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 465/18 dated. 29.06.18 U/S- 272 IPC R/W Sec
56/58/59 of The food Safety and Standards Act 2006.
