On 18.06.2018 around
14.55  hrs SI Partha Sarathi Das of NJP PS in pursuance of secret
information, arrested five person namely i) Ajit Mandal, ii)Gamesh Mallick,
iii) Niranjan Bhowmick, iv) Tapan Ghosh, v) Mukul Sutradhar & seized
3400 ltrs HSD & others oil which were illegally procured for their illegal
gain and two bolero pick up van bearing reg no. WB 73D 4066 & WB 73E 5457
which are used for illegal transportation of oil  from IOC road. 
This refers to New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 433/18 dated. 18.06.18 U/S-
120B/285/411/414/379 IPC r/w  Sec 7(1)(a) (ii) of Essential Commodity Act
1955.
